DAY 8

Day 8 - Disney Sea! Before that, we walked to the Disneyland entrance and posed for a picture! They are side by side mah...

We had to take the Disney resort line in! It cost 500 yen round trip per person! Damn ex lah, considering how few stops there were. Later, we found out from friends that you can actually walk into Disney Sea!

Inside the train, everything was Mickey-themed. From windows to handles to seats...

Finally inside Disney Sea!

Must queue up to take this photo one leh. And btw Disney Sea was celebrating 5th anniversary and Spring Carnival lah.

Pluto! Caught a few more characters but not Mickey and Minnie :(

Mediterranean Harbor, where we took this gondola ride. Machiam like in Venice like that haha!

American Waterfront

Posing with Donald!

A very nice show called Legend of Mythica with lots of characters

Can you spot Mickey?

Port Discovery. So-so only, rides weren't very exciting too...

Lost River Delta. This is the rollercoaster we took. It has a 360 degrees loop. I only remembered I kept screaming throughout. Haha...

Arabian Coast

Mermaid Lagoon

We had to queue for 30 mins to take photo with Ariel. The people in front took very long and we thought we could visit Ariel's house or there was something fun inside. When we got in, we realized it was really just stand there and pose with her only. Haiz.

Mermaid Lagoon is my favorite place!

Mysterious Island

BraviSEAmo! It was an awesome show with fire, water, fireworks and music. Like 10000 times better than musical fountain lah. But story was narrated in Jap, we couldn't understand. People "chope" seat 1 hr in advance for a good view loh.

The 2 elements - fire and water. If you have a chance to go there, don't miss it!

DAY 7

Day 7 - After a good rest and a not-too-bad breakfast, we were on our own in Tokyo! For the rest of the days, we stayed in a youth hostel and had cup noodles for breakfast.

Got to our hostel! Erm I got us lost, even though I stayed in Khaosan before 2 years ago...

First stop: Sensoji in Asakusa! It was like a 5-minute walk from our hostel.

It was very crowded. Probably because it was a Sunday lah.

2nd stop: Shinjuku!

It is a bustling area in downtown Tokyo with lots of shopping to do!

3rd stop: Shibuya!

We saw a long queue, decided to join as well. The mochi ice-cream was so good! Think we had sakura and peach ones.

Shibuya at night. Damn crowded can.

Ramen again! But this time not so nice.

That's the small space we have to walk. After we put our bags, got no place left! Got no air-con somemore. But I think it's the backpacking experience that matters lah hehe.

DAY 6

Day 6 - Sapporo's famous clock tower that wasn't that impressive...

Us in Odori park with the TV tower behind

Odori park... somewhat like Central park but not as big and green I feel...

Me and pink tulips! Very beautiful leh...

At the Old Hokkaido government building...

Tulips of different colors again

Us + tulips + cherry blossoms! Very nice ah...

See how happy I am with the flowers?

We bought 1 big box of "bai2 se4 lian4 ren2"! Almost everyone had a box like us. Of course there were some other souvenirs inside lah...

Chitose Salmon Aquarium. Think our underwater world better lah.

Nonetheless we managed to spot many cherry blossoms

Shopping at factory outlet! Where I got a Tommy skirt for myself, only to realize it was very loose after I came back. Nike was quite cheap! Yiwen bought something there.

Leaving Hokkaido on a jet plane! We shopped a lot man...

In Tokyo where we had dinner at Odaiba. We reached Tokyo quite late, ended up having dinner at 9-ish. They said the food wasn't nice but I kept eating and eating. I must have been famished.
